We had the pleasure of working on a classic 1973 Volkswagen Beetle recently here at Highend Car Stereo & Performance. We took the vehicle from its groovy days in the seventies and eighties and upgraded the look by giving it a modern take on its grooviness.

Here we see the out dated look that the 1973 Volkswagen Beetle had before the update that was done on it.

The Beetle was updated with a new paint job and entirely new design to give it a unique look without looking dated. We outfitted new chrome wheels by American Racing and new Continental tires. We also switched the window from the full door windows to the original split vented window to accommodate the original chrome side mirrors that were installed as well. The yellow vinyl stripe was added to split the two colors and make it stand out. Next for this awesome Beetle is a full audio upgrade. Stay tuned for more on this vehicle.

We have put together a custom fiberglass subwoofer enclosure for a 2016 Canam Spyder F3S that holds a JL 8″ subwoofer. We also added JL 6.5″ coaxial speakers in their own speakers pods which includes LED lighting to show off the new audio addition. A Rockford-Fosgate bluetooth module has been added in order to link any bluetooth enabled audio device to the system. To power it all up, we installed a JL MX 500/4 and installed a Rockford-Fosgate DSR1 8-Channel Interactive Signal Processor to give it a phenomenal sound.

We also changed the front rims with a set of PPA 15″ Widow Series wheels to give it an upgraded look while maintaining the factory ride. To complete the build, we added a complete Motorcycle LED kit to make it more visible on the road while giving it more style and installed a Viper alarm system along with Viper Powersport GPS Smartstart system. Once again it was that time of year where we showcased some of our best builds and projects. We here at Highend Car Stereo and Performance have a reputation for excellent installations, experienced and knowledgeable installers and it really shows at our booth every year at the Philadelphia Auto Show DUB floor section. 2018 was no different showcasing our services such as audio, video, lighting, performance, window tinting, bodywork, painting, vinyl wraps, graphics, airbrushing, vertical doors, fiberglass molding, custom headlight fabrication, rims and tires. Here at High End Car Stereo and Performance in Williamstown, NJ, we had the opportunity to work on an extra clean 2014 Porsche Panamera4. This work of art has a perfect window tint job and a set of 22″ Vossen wheels that seems to be made specifically for this vehicle with how perfect they look on the vehicle. We painted the calipers race yellow and added black Porsche decals to complete the look. We’ve also upgraded the sound by adding some Hertz Audio components in the front and the rear doors, installed an AudioControl LC7I six channel processor and added two JL 10W6 subwoofers in custom fiberglass subwoofer enclosures wrapped in suede, while keeping the factory headunit and maintaining a clean factory look. To power it all up, we have added a JL HD600/4 four channel, 600 watt amplifier for the highs and a RockfordFosgate R1200-1D mono block, 1200 watt amplifier for the subwoofers.
